My wife thought it would be a great idea to surprise me with a voucher to attend The Dubliner Cookery School, I’m sure she wasn’t trying to say I needed to improve my skills !! We went along with 2 friends and the first thing I noticed was how well laid out the place was, we were greeted in the reception area by very friendly staff, given our name badges, just like schooldays of old. Colin who demo’s all of the dishes was fantastic, knowledgable and very interactive with everyone. Jose, Ale, and Mark made sure we were all set up at our cooking stations and wanted for nothing. The food was great, the venue was incredible. 24 strangers all cooking away, oblivious to each others skills or lack of and we ate away side by side and had a really enjoyable evening, we even met the owner as we left, great guy. I attended the four day boot camp as a complete beginner. I had very high expectations based on others I knew who had been to the school. Nevertheless my expectations were greatly exceeded! The place is beautifully laid out. The course is fast paced and brilliantly taught by Grainne and Gerry, bith clearly excellent chefs. The atmosphere was relaxed and caring and all 18 of us on the course got on well. I cannot recommend this highly enough, if you want to hone your skills, take the course.

Fantastic 4-day course at Dublin Cookery School! Professional chef-instructors, perfectly organised, and a friendly atmosphere. Gained so many practical skills I'm already using at work and home. Truly inspiring and hands-on. Highly recommended for anyone looking to seriously improve their cooking.

Just completed their 4 week training and can’t say enough good things about the team and the course. It was fun and full on, every day was packed full. Lots of great guest teachers. Something for everyone. The other students were wonderful. I now have so many ideas recipes and skills. My yoga students are already reaping the benefits, and it’s only a few days since it finished. Definitely worth the investment of time and money.

What can I say?! Gerry and his team were exceptional! They have such deep knowledge of the culinary world and all the relevant processes. The food was delicious and I now have a greater understanding of organic foods and where to get them and how to cook them! Probably my favourite part about the Dublin Cookery school is that they support and shop local for produce with an emphasis on organic. The venue itself was beautiful and the overall experience was a solid 10/10. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
