Nico was very kind and knowledgeable, answering our questions not only in fluent English but also in French too. He gave a good overview of the five villages before we stopped at a nice spot (which he advised) for a snorkeling swim. We were 7-8 people in the boat in an intimate atmosphere. I would highly recommend Nico to discover the Cinque Terre from the sea.

We went out on the boat with these guys twice during our week here because they were so friendly and accommodating, happy to be flexible around our 10month old. The tours are packed with interesting information from local guides, and the swimming/snorkeling is gorgeous. Nicolas grew up here and has decades of good stories to tell. Highly recommend!

A popular tourist spot where you can visit the five towns with trains or boat. We took the boat option as we wanted to see the towns from afar. Nevertheless taking the train is convenient too. Most of the towns look better in pictures than in real life honestly. In the towns, you'll find alot of souvenir shops as well as restaurants catering to mostly tourists and hence don't expect too much.

Lovely Vernazza! Beautiful town on the sea. Vernazza is one of the 5 centuries-old villages that make up the Cinque Terre, on northwest Italy’s rugged Ligurian coast. Colorful houses surround its small marina.

One of the most beautiful places I've visited, no doubt. We went in late April though, and there were way to much tourists to enjoy the cities. The hikes between them is well worth it, though! Also would recommend taking the ferry rather than the train (even though it's a little bit more expensive), it really adds to the experience.
