Beautiful place to visit. Man made lake. Best time to visit is when lake is frozen and must need a cleats to see bubbles 🫧 We didn't had an idea before to have cleats as it was just our flying visit.

Excellent place for family day out even during winter, view the wonders of nature , multi layers of white bubbles in this lake when the lake freeze, must watch place.

It was amazing to see the ice bubbles in person. I visited on January 1st, and although the temperature showed 0°C, the wind made it feel much colder. Winter hats and gloves are definitely a must. The lake was also quite slippery, so having boot spikes or some kind of traction support is highly recommended if you plan to walk farther out. You don’t need any kind of pass to visit the lake.

29 Dec 2025. The lake is fairly frozen. It’s safe to walk around, we could see several folks skating further inside. The frozen water layer was about 18-20 inches and one could see bubbles fairly close to the lake shore. It gets super windy and cold, so gloves, tight fitting caps and cleats are highly recommended!

Beautiful view. Sunny all day except while we were here but the colour of the water was incredible. Very windy, couldn't believe the white caps. Mountain goats on the other side of the road ... win win!!!
