The hot spring in the sea is a must-see place. What you need to know: There is parking. There is an amazing view that you can see everything from above. Before going down to the sea, there are cute goats free to roam. Be careful not to hurt them. They always want to eat. There is a great cafe where you can refresh yourself before and after going down to the sea. The descent is about 5 minutes, the ascent is about 12 minutes. There are sunbeds for rent and a small bar downstairs. Massage stations are available for a fee. And of course, entry to the sea and the hot spring is free. Please keep the place clean and beautiful. The water is hot and you have to get used to it. Sometimes there is more sea water, sometimes less. And so the temperature changes. It is very fun, even for children who will only get used to it, like a jacuzzi. Don't stay too long in a row.
The day of our visit - an October day later in the afternoon, the pool was very small and just a few centimeters deep. The water was very hot though- I managed to put inside my feet and could hold it for a minute at most :), at the same time it is kind of a lost place with dilapidated ruin of a house / may be this was supposed to be some hotel ? / and a row of abandoned sun beds and - also abandoned- beach bar… strange vibes…. Kind of spooky even. But it is just fine on a sunny day afternoon with a lot of people around. Do not forget to bring a good pair of shoes since the descent is approximately 500 m on foot / from the parking lot to the hot spring. The scenery around the place is astounding though, steep rocks and hills the color of rust… superb views of the sea from atop of the hill are magical…
The thermal water is veeery hot at the spring, but gets colder towards the sea. Sadly it was packed with tourists (11am) and we didn't feel like going in as it's quite small. Try coming in the early morning hours 😊
