We booked a tour of half day snorkeling and half day road trip. We started at 5:30 so we avoid traffic on the way from canggu area to bay where we departed. We avoided traffic but spent an hour in hrabour waiting. This was ok since we could grab breakfast and coffee. After we arrived to Nusa Penisa, driver quickly picked us and drove us to snorkelling meeting point. There, they told us we need to wait another hour for bot departure. Then we finally boarded at 10:15 and went for snorkelling part. It was very nice, corals were nice, we saw lot of fish, manta and also turtle. Afterwards, our “driver as a guide” who barely speak English picked us up and road trip where we should visited 3 places started. We went to restaurant for lunch where we shared lunch with many other visitors but atmosphere was nice and food was also “adequate”. Then, in middle of tour, our driver asked for payment in cash. This was bit suspicious but we decided to pay. The tour continued and we visited first place around 14:30. Our guide took as to Kelingsting beach. This was first disappointment. we came there and shared this place with 200 another tours. Of course, this is popular place so we were ok with it and fighted for our 50cm of space to take nice picture with beach (not with construction site full of trash around). After we have picture we asked if we can hike down to beach (advertised in tour), but there was not time. We checked time and agreed that if we want to see another two places we skip this beautiful beach. So we went back to car and continued our trip. After 35mins of not very comfortable and dangerous ride on narrow road (nobody mistake, just want to mention) we realised we are heading back to port and stared to be bit nervous. When we arrived one hour earlier before last ferry departure I just shared disappointment with driver and requested partial refund since we practically experienced only snorkelling, lunch and one crowded viewpoint. After 45mins of communication with both driver and tour operator we got free ride (600k) back to canggu and “we are sorry”. To sum up this experience. start was nice with some writing that could be handled better in my opinion and then lot of disappointment without any communication about situation and inability to either say that tour was not according to plan or compensation. Instead we got lot of excuses and tricks targeting to “just walk away with bitter taste and let it be”

Amazing experience! My driver arrived on time, was incredibly kind, patient, and very professional/ especially on the tricky Nusa roads. He also took stunning photos and videos for us, which made the trip even more memorable. Highly recommend!
