Silk Island Cycling Tour

Begin your day at the meeting point near the Silk Island Ferry Terminal, where your friendly guide will be waiting with bicycles and safety helmets. After a short local ferry crossing over the Mekong River, you will arrive at the peaceful Silk Island, also known as Koh Dach. Your first ride takes you to the Silk Island Community Centre, where a guided visit introduces you to the traditional silk-making process. From observing silkworms to understanding how threads are spun, dyed, and woven, you will learn how this ancient craft has been preserved through generations of family tradition. Before continuing, you will have free time to browse the gift shop and purchase locally made silk products and souvenirs.

Cycling onward through quiet countryside paths, you will reach Wat Krapum Pech, a calm and authentic local pagoda where your guide will explain its cultural and spiritual significance. A short ride later, you will stop for lunch and enjoy a freshly prepared Khmer meal at a local restaurant. After lunch, the journey continues to a riverside beach along the Mekong, offering time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the scenic river views.
