The Katla Ice Cave was absolutely incredible. Walking through the cave felt surreal, with layers of ice, ash, and deep blue colours all around. The guides were excellent and explained the history of the glacier and volcano really well. A truly unforgettable experience.

David was very knowledgeable. The drive to the Ice Cave was educative with the history of the place and science behind the formation of Ice Caves. He made it entertaining by telling us Icelandic myths and folklore. We choose the morning tour and we were able to see the sunrise and the scenery was mesmerizing. Ice Caves were beautiful. The drive back by the black sand beach with music was a pleasant surprise end. I would also like to thank David for going above and beyond to get our lost cellphone delivered 2 hrs away from Vik. I highly recommend the tour and the guide.

My husband and I really enjoyed the Katla Ice Cave tour. It started with a fun 40-minute Super Jeep ride. The walk to the caves was short and easy, with beautiful glacier views. We visited two amazing ice caves with blue ice and black ash. Our guide Thomas was great and told us lots of interesting facts about Iceland, volcanoes, and ice caves. The tour lasted about 4 hours, and they provided all the gear we needed. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I went here a few weeks ago. Hawk was a fabulous, energetic guide who taught us a lot about the region. The cave itself this year seems small-ish, but it's still incredible. Plus, the scenery to/from the cave, and the ride itself was also amazing. My husband and I also took another popular ice cave tour by Troll about an hour or so Northeast, which was also very beautiful in a different way, but we preferred the Katla ice cave itself and overall tour experience in Katla much more, if you had to choose one.

Very adventurous site. Frankly, quite scary for my wife to cross crevices, but WOW, it was great! Drive on the way to/from was 4-wheeling adventure also. Nice!!!
