We arrived at this guesthouse after already staying in about eight different accommodations across Iceland. In all the previous places we were impressed by the order, cleanliness, and consideration that hosts expect from guests – from taking off shoes at the entrance to keeping quiet during certain hours. Here, our experience was a bit mixed: • There was no clear signage for the reception, and it took us a few minutes to find someone who could help. • One of the pillowcases in our room was not completely clean. • On the positive side, the main common room is beautifully designed, with two hammocks, large sofas, two tables, and high chairs. It is a very inviting and comfortable space where I would have loved to sit and read a book. However, because it is also used as a gathering spot for groups, the noise sometimes carried on until late at night. This might be more of an acoustic issue than anything else, since the room itself has a lot of potential.
