Experience a cross border journey that begins in Tbilisi and leads into the heart of Armenia. The road unfolds through changing landscapes and calm mountain scenery. One of the first cultural treasures is Akhpat Monastery standing quietly among green hills and ancient stone paths. Its atmosphere invites slow walks and thoughtful pauses. History feels close here carried by walls shaped through centuries. The journey continues toward the capital where tradition and modern life meet in gentle contrast.
Discover the rhythm of Yerevan through its streets squares and landmarks filled with local life. Cafes art corners and open spaces reveal the spirit of the city. The experience deepens at Lake Sevan where wide blue waters meet fresh mountain air. Time slows as the lake reflects the sky and surrounding hills. Those who wish can enjoy local flavors by the shore tasting fresh white fish and a special crab kebab delicacy. The day blends culture nature and taste into one smooth memorable adventure.

The trip to Armenia was absolutely fantastic. The nature is breathtaking, and I especially loved experiencing the country through a road trip – the landscapes were stunning and truly unforgettable. Our guide, Moris, was extremely professional, polite, and attentive, always making sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. His knowledge of Armenian history, geography, and culture was outstanding, and he shared it in a very engaging way. I also really appreciated that he conducted the tour simultaneously in English and Russian, which was very helpful for the whole group. Armenia is a truly magical country with a rich history and incredible scenery. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

We had a very good time in Armenia. Our guide Khatuna was very knowledgable and provided good information about the country. Although the trip was very long (16 hours) it didn't feel like a very long trip. I can recommend this trip!

It’s definitely a lot to fit into one day. The whole trip is about 16 hours total. But it was still a good trip. Thanks!

Morris was an informative and helpful guide who did everything to make the trip comfortable from having WiFi logins, spare charging leads and excellent recommendations. It was beautifully snowy and his driving felt super safe despite the ice. A truly magical winter adventure with an incredible amount packed into the day. The food court stop for lunch was a nice touch as you get to try lots of Armenian produce being made. I can’t recommend the tour highly enough. Top tips: If you go in winter, take crampons or very sturdy walking boots as there’s lots of slippery steps! It’s also a while until the first stop so worth packing a breakfast too.

Paata was very energetic, informative explaining the whole trip. As much as the driver. It was a long ride, but the time passed by very quickly. The highlight of the trip was Yerevan.

Haghartsin Monastery is a beautifully restored 10th–13th century monastic complex hidden in the forested mountains of Dilijan National Park. Built under the Bagratuni dynasty, it was an important spiritual and cultural center known for its refined architecture and peaceful natural setting. The complex includes several churches, a gavit, ancient khachkars, and charming stone details that reflect Armenia’s medieval craftsmanship. Surrounded by lush greenery and silence, Haghartsin offers both rich history and a serene atmosphere, making it one of the most memorable sites in the region.

Haghartsin Monastery – Dilijan ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and peaceful monastery surrounded by forested mountains. Amazing architecture, calm atmosphere — a must-visit spot when you’re in Dilijan

Wonderful old monastery complex with diverse premises overseeing some breathtaking valley and the mountains across it. You can also enjoy fresh water from a natural stream and delicious local bakery

The journey through the tree lined roads is as enchanting as the peaceful monastic complex itself. While the historical beauty is immense, improved maintenance of the paid restrooms would perfect the visitor experience. Overall, it's an unforgettable escape into Armenia's timeless charm.

This is a truly extraordinary place. Its old-world beauty is captivating. It's highly recommended that you take a guided tour to fully appreciate the rich history behind these magnificent monuments. The site was thoughtfully reconstructed following an earthquake. Informative displays are available upon entry. Each building holds a fascinating story. A refreshing water spring can be found towards the rear. You'll also find a lovely display of hatchkaris in the back area. The scenery is picturesque throughout. The journey itself is scenic, with springs and flowing water along the way. There are many pleasant barbecue areas alongside the road. It's a truly must-see destination.
