I was first tim on Tbilisi airport. I traveled to Urumqi. Thisi is a Little airport, it has small Duty free, easy to find the gates. You can charge your smartphone with Type C, USB and EU plug. WiFi is good, easy to connect. It has great views.
Tbilisi Airport is decent in terms of basic facilities, but one serious issue really spoils the overall experience. The presence of beggars inside the airport area, especially using a young girl to approach passengers waiting for check-in, is very disturbing. It leaves a bad impression and feels unsafe and uncomfortable. What’s more disappointing is that this issue has been mentioned in reviews from 3 years ago, yet no visible action has been taken. This definitely feels like a stain on an otherwise beautiful country. On the positive side: • Washrooms are clean and well maintained • Airport is small and easy to navigate • Free Wi-Fi works fine • Free charging points are available • A free luggage weighing machine is installed on the leftmost wall (departure), which is very helpful Overall, the airport has good basic amenities, but authorities really need to address the begging issue inside the terminal to improve passenger experience and safety.
