Embark on a comprehensive journey from Tbilisi to explore the breathtaking landscapes of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. This excursion focuses on the newly renovated Dashbashi Canyon, a geological masterpiece that offers visitors a unique perspective on Georgia's natural beauty. As you traverse the scenic route, you will encounter diverse ecosystems and stunning vistas that define this rugged terrain, providing a perfect backdrop for those seeking to capture the essence of the Caucasus mountains through photography.

The itinerary includes a significant stop at the historic village of Asureti, a former German settlement that retains its unique architectural charm and cultural heritage. Walking through the village streets allows travelers to connect with the past while appreciating the preservation efforts that keep this site relevant today. This cultural immersion provides a stark and beautiful contrast to the wild, untamed nature found at the nearby Lake Algeti, which serves as a serene sanctuary for local wildlife.

Dashbashi Canyon offers dramatic landscapes, crystal waterfalls and a thrilling glass bridge suspended above the valley. The hike is rewarding, with cool, lush spots along the river. It’s an ideal for photography and adventure. Beautiful, peaceful, and memorable — highly recommended.

A wonderful, beautiful place. Gorgeous nature. Amazing views. Waterfalls. You just have to get there to see everything before 4:00 PM. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food is so-so. It's better to try the local cuisine in the village. It will be much more interesting and delicious. It is still a tourist spot.

Entry fee is 79 GEL which allows you to walk on the Diamond Bridge and walk down to see the waterfall. I found the price to be expensive. The bike cost 120 GEL. I found it overrated and would not recommend. The swing cost 35 GEL and was a lot of fun!
