Begin your 12-hour tour from Tbilisi at Avlabari Metro Station and journey along the scenic Georgian Military Highway, starting with the impressive Zhinvali Water Reservoir. Learn about the history of this Soviet-era dam, built in the 1980s, and take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Your next stop is Ananuri Fortress, once the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, where you can explore the historic site of numerous battles, uncover stories of the feudal dynasty, and capture breathtaking photos of the fortress set against the picturesque mountains. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Georgian lunch in Pasanauri, famous as the homeland of Khinkali, and continue to the Friendship Monument in Gudauri, a striking memorial overlooking Devil’s Valley that celebrates Georgian and Russian relations.

The tour then takes you to Kazbegi, where you’ll visit the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, perched under Kazbegi Mountain at 2,170 meters above sea level. Take in panoramic views of the surrounding valley and marvel at the serene beauty of this isolated mountain landmark. Conclude your day at the Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, a luxury hotel offering a stylish restaurant where you can relax with a cup of coffee while enjoying spectacular views of the Caucasus Mountains. Highlights of this journey include Zhinvali Water Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, the Gudauri Friendship Monument, Stepantsminda, Gergeti Trinity Church, and the Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, providing a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.

Kazbegi Viewpoint is truly heaven on earth — God’s masterpiece painted between the clouds and mountains. The air feels purer, the silence softer, and the view… simply takes your breath away. There’s even a drone photographer who captures your moment — a beautiful memory you’ll never forget

Beautiful spot with absolutely stunning views of the mountains. Definitely worth a stop on the way! The monument adds a nice touch of history and makes for great photos. However, the place can get quite crowded, and the small stalls nearby charge a bit too much for things like coffee and hot chocolate. Still, the scenery makes up for it, and it’s one of those must-see places in Gudauri

Amazing place. The monument was built in 1983 as a sign of friendship between Russia and Georgia, stands on a mountain 2200 m high, and the view is stunning. The monument is built on a huge round stone wall with balconies inside arches and a stunning view of the Caucasus Mountains. We arrived in October and it was snowing. An amazing experience. Don't miss a visit

We went there in the Georgian Russian Friendship Monument during winter season on a weekend. So we expected snow and an all white view. Prepare your winter clothes since we are there on the 1st of December kinda -3 to -5 degrees. Cable cars are not yet operating since winter just came. Its a best place to visit on a summer as well since all are green and a great view as well. Our son who just turned 4 years old that time enjoyed and loves the snow experience! I also experienced the paragliding! It was a wild one and i must say one of the best experience of my life. Try to experience it as well!

The viewpoint itself is magnificent and offers one of the most stunning landscapes in Georgia. The scale of the mountains from this vantage point is truly awe-inspiring, making it a mandatory photo stop. That said, the experience is dampened by the high concentration of tourist traps.
