This is a great little brewery that makes a very decent beer. BUT the visitor experience leaves a lot to be desired. Firstly, $15 for a 10-minute 'tour' by an employee who was completely uninterested in doing anything, aside from keeping her nose in her phone left just such an unpleasant taste. A taste that might have been made a little better but the tastings were 1-oz pours of 5 or 6 beers, so not only squeezing the most money possible for a very lackluster tour, but also trying to save as much as possible by being so stingy with their samples. Oh and by the way, the Bahamas Distilling Co. just down the road does tours for $5, has enthusiastic employees and gives a very nice tasting. Just saying.

It's an alcohol store with good Sands beer prices. The tour with unlimited tasting is $50. Not sure yhats a hood price. Boight some Sands and skipped the tour.

Guided tour of the brewery, liquor store inside. Sands lite Beer my favorite. See how the island brewery makes a favorite beer of ours in the Bahamas. At the end we got to try all the different kinds they brew. Fun little outing, you should check it out.

Sailed on the Margaritaville at Sea. Docked in Freeport, took a shared van taxi to Sands Brewery. Did the tasting tour, was drinking beer at beer 30. (It's five o'clock somewhere). They were not in production the day we went, but you can tour a live brewery and see how they brew beer in the Bahamas. Using water from a Bahamian Spring, and imported malt, barley and hops imported from Germany. A Must Do for beer lovers. Taste 6 different beers made by the Sands Brewery. LIKE High Rock, Stout, Sands light. Awesome place, stop by on your way back to your ship, buy a case of Sands, support a local Bahamian Brewery. #sandsbahamianbrewery
