Very nice winery! Extremely good wines, very interesting tour, tasty snacks and our tour guy had a really good sense of humor. We really enjoyed our visit. Also the landscape and surroundings there are absolutely amazing. Fell in love with this one. Real pearl! Highly recommend it!

Our group consisted of 3 couples that stayed at the hotel and enjoyed a wine pairing dinner at the winery and the following day a cooking class and dinner at the winery. We had a very good time our entire stay. Honestly, the wine pairing dinner and cooking class were pretty similar. After we made homemade pasta, we sat at the same outside dinner table that we had the prior evening for the wine tasting. However, the host was kind enough to change some of the wines around. I love wine and food and would have no problem duplicating again. I believe some may find it somewhat repetitive though. Our dedicated table server was Mikela. My goodness, she was outstanding and one of our favorites during the trip. Please note that I am tardy in posting because we were at the winery in October. The town of San Gimignano is unbelievable. Don't miss it.

This place looks exactly like the kind of movie that makes you want to buy a vineyard in Italy. The wine and olive oil tasting was truly world-class. The host knew exactly how to entertain, and the wine was simply sublime. I had four glasses in one hour and didn’t even get drunk. Afterwards, you get to taste the grapes and walk the property—an experience that feels almost unreal. I’m so glad I got to be here and live this moment.

We were warmly welcomed. We started the tasting journey with the owner's nephew who gave us an excellent experience of the place and explanations about the wines and starters, we took with us the wines we liked (unfortunately limited to a liter per person on the flight) and also a souvenir for the parents. We will definitely be back on our next trip! We really enjoyed the whole experience and we recommend everyone in the area to come and even plan a trip in advance. The kind of place you feel obligated to visit. ❤️

We recently did the "Lunch in Winery with Tour." Overall our experience was great and would have garnered 5 stars except for two negatives, which I will describe below. First, the positives: 1. Advance email communication was great, especially in helping us set up transportation from Florence, which we did via train to and from Poggibonsi, with transport by the winery to and from Poggibonsi, which was timely, albeit a bit pricey at 60 euros for the short round trip. 2. Warmly greeted in a meeting area and quickly offered a glass of wine, very professional and high end feeling. 3. Excellent food and generous portions. 4. Fantastic wine, in abundance, with really nice selections. Negatives: 1. Tour: The website states the following "You’ll embark on a captivating tour through our lush vineyards and historic cellar rooms, where the enchanting aroma of aging barrels sets the stage for your visit." At best, this is a gross exaggeration if not downright untrue. The "tour" consisted of 5 - 10 minutes standing out in a grass area observing and learning about grape vines (soil conditions, type of grape, leaf structure, etc.). 2. Sales pitch: This might be a little unfair, given that it is a winery, but there was a clear sense they were trying to sell wine and wanted you to buy some, although definitely not high pressure at all, to their credit. As an fyi, we bought 5 bottles (4 red, one white) for shipment to our home in the US, mainly because the wine was delicious and super high quality. Note that their focus is on red wine.
