We had a great time on the 2 half, 1 full day tour - arranged so that works for flight times. Our guides were both excellent and fully back what other people commented in the reviews - really added to our experience. We appreciated small touches like making sure as we walked around a site we took a particular route so not ending up in a big crowd of people looking at one thing. We concluded at the end that had been worth paying to go private rather than in our group - gave a much more personal touch, could spend as long as wanted, not waiting for people etc. In conclusion, would highly recommend getting a tour from Green Island!

Highly highly highly recommend! We did a 2.5 day tour with our guide Yoyo and we were the only people on the tour. The tour was absolutely amazing, magical and truly inspiring! We stopped at all the important places and Yoyo was the absolute best guide there is! Super knowledgeable, showing us everything, and giving us space and perfectly taking care of us! Great communication from the tour company and great flexibility when it comes to the star gazing tour! Highly highly recommend!!!

I think we got the best tour guide on the whole island. Yo-yo was unbelievable. So fun, so smart, and just genuinely down to Earth. My person and I had so much fun on this private tour. We felt very connected to the spirits, culture, and wisdom that the Moai's possessed and the land itself, the caves, the ruins, everything felt so connected. I appreciated this tour and especially our guide.

11/10 recommend. If you get the chance to be blessed by Yoyo, he will change your life. He is an intelligent, very knowledgeable and fun native of the island. He gave us ample amount of time to feel and touch and even taste the islands love, purity, and authenticity. His gifts of knowledge surprised us a lot of the time and he knows everyone on the island so people in general were extremely welcoming and friendly. On the tour we ventured to the southern and northeast sides of the island. We saw incredible moai’s, ruins, landscapes and hot recommended the best place to eat on day 2. Yoyo also was an incredible photographer, the photos attached are all taken by him of us, on my phone. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. It was truly surreal.

The tour was amazing. Yoyo was our guide each day and he really was an awesome guide. We actually added on Stargazing and sunrise tours. I highly recommend the whole package. We got such good information about the history of the island and the Moai. Yoyo always made sure we had good opportunities for photos and always took time to answer our questions. Mark was the orator for the stargazing. He explained to us how they use to use the stars to navigate. He provided chairs and gave us such a good explanation without being too much. He pointed out many constellations as well as he had two telescopes for us. One to view the moon and the other to view Jupiter and 4 of its moons (visible that day). It does have to be a mostly clear night to experince this adventure. He also took photos of us with midnight sky. Yoyo was also our guide for the sunrise tour on the last morning. He knew the perfect spot for us to sit and watch so that we would not only be away from the other tour groups, but have amazing photo opportunities. I highly recommend booking with Green Island Tours. The small group tour of only 8 people was perfect. Without a doubt I would book with them again. And their communication from inquiry and through our departure from the island was excellent.
