Embark on a captivating day trip from Siem Reap to Battambang, located 164 km away, a journey that takes around 3-4 hours by car. Your adventure begins with a visit to the historic Wat Ek Phnom, an 11th-century temple that has partially collapsed over time. Situated just 11 km north of Battambang, Wat Ek Phnom offers an intriguing glimpse into Cambodia’s early Khmer architecture, set against a backdrop of lush countryside.
After exploring the temple, we will drive into Battambang city and take time to visit the local market, where you can experience the vibrant atmosphere and sample local products. Following this, we head to Ta Prohm Krong Koh, where you'll hop aboard the famous bamboo train. This former railway line, now converted into a popular tourist attraction, offers a unique and scenic ride through the countryside, providing an unforgettable perspective on rural life in Cambodia.
After a relaxing bamboo train ride, enjoy a delicious lunch before visiting Wat Banan, a 12th-century temple offering panoramic views and a serene atmosphere. Next, head to Phnom Sapeuv to witness the mesmerizing bat cave at sunset, as thousands of bats emerge in a dramatic display. Concluding with a return to Siem Reap, this private tour blends ancient temples, local experiences, and natural wonders, showcasing the best of Battambang’s cultural and historical treasures.

Kriss is a very experienced tour planner and driver with excellent local knowledge and English. We wanted a flexible and tailored tour as I was travelling with my an elderly father from Australia. Kriss was happy to accommodate and recommend appropriate temples, villages and national parks and personally tailor our 3 days of touring to accommodate. Sa our tour guide was fantastic. He was a very experienced, government certified tour guide with many years’ experience. He could answer any question we asked him as he was very knowledgeable. Kriss and Sa helped us avoid many crowds and gain insights that many other tourists missed out on. Kriss was prompt to pick us up from the airport and hotel every day and it was nice to travel in comfortable, air-conditioned car. As experienced travellers from Australia, I have visited many places in the world and would not hesitate to use Kriss and Siem Reap Private Day Tours if you want to do a 1 day private tour, a 2 day private tour or a 3 day private tour of Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Bayon Temple, Banteay Srey, National Park Phnom Kulen or any other area of interest in Siem Reap.

Booking with Kriss was really simple- he confirmed everything by WhatsApp. He also was able to accommodate our very short trip to siem riep. He picked us up from the airport mid-afternoon, got us to the floating village for a sunset boat ride with drinks/food, picked us up the next morning at 4:45 am for a half day Angkor tour, and dropped us off at the airport by 1 pm for our 3:25 flight. He has an air conditioned, comfortable van, and he was prepared with water and cool towels (Angkor was hot!). He was very nice as well! Kriss arranged for Thom to be our guide and he was fantastic! He maneuvered us around the crowd, was super knowledgeable about all the temples, was friendly, spoke great English, and took awesome photos of us! He tries to learn what the tourists like us want! I recommend them for anyone coming to siem riep. Don’t wing it- book with Kriss and ask for Thom if you need a tour!

Our gathering of ten went to Angkor Wat for two days in the association of our guide Em and his driver Alex. I can't state enough concerning Em's learning of Angkor Wat, and Cambodian history when all is said in done. Em was on time, versatile, and charming to be with. He stayed with our kids while the adults rose the stairs into the haven where adolescents were not allowed. He took us to splendid restaurants for lunch. On the second day, at Em's proposition, we went to the greatest lake in SE Asia and took a vessel visit through a town of people living in stilt houses. This wound up being our most imperative experience on the trip. We gained a lot of ground in our circulated air through and cooled van and found it an outstandingly pleasing way to deal with see Cambodia. Demand Em when you book your visit, who is similarly totally strong and master.

I booked a dawn sanctuary/day visit through Mr. Kriss for my folks, spouse, and I. One day to see the sanctuaries via auto and included an English talking visit direct. Everything was awesome. Our driver, Alex, was sitting tight for us in the hall of our lodging early. Alex had a full cooler of frosty water and kept us hydrated for the duration of the day. Our guide Pinch was likewise incredible. We saw 4 sanctuaries. The dawn wasn't awesome however we visited sanctuaries until past 4. General phenomenal day and educated a ton about the sanctuaries. Amid our drives to the sanctuaries we additionally ready to examine later history in Cambodia and current governmental issues. While surely a troublesome point, both Alex, and our guide were cheerful and willing to share their experience and viewpoint. Really a superb day. Would suggest.

Ok, here it goes so we booked a package of 3 days and 3 nights from Angkor Wat Tour. Super simple to book. Gotten at our hotel and we got a local welcome drink, which was undoubtedly good. Took us to every one of the sanctuaries and temples an many tourist places in 3 days around Angkor Wat. Was eager to alter in light of what our gathering was most keen on. Kriss our driver was incredible. He tuned in to our necessities and what we needed to see. Gave us enough time to the attractions around Siem Reap that we didn't feel hurried. The cool towels and water through were a pleasant touch. His car Lexus was exceptionally agreeable and clean. He was extremely watchful with his driving in boisterous rush hour gridlock that we felt exceptionally sheltered. His insight into the attractions we went by was great. A man of his word, extremely glad for his nation. Would profoundly suggest.
