Daily supply boat to Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem at 2pm for $5. We took the boat to M'pai Bay in Koh Rong Sanloem island. The boat left slightly delayed (around 2:30pm) and we arrived around 5:30pm.

Cheap way to go to koh rong. Boats are leaving daily between 2-3pm. 5$ per person 10$ for a bike.

We caught the supply boat for Koh Rong from here. We weren't too sure to begin with and walked over to Pier 63, nobody spoke English but the boat does go from Pier 52 - the men spent a few hours loading the boat, it is supposed to leave at 2pm but I think it left around 3.30pm and arrived in Koh Rong at around 6pm. We paid towards the end of our boat journey - one of the men asked for the money, we were able to pay in dollars or riel. It was a really interesting journey and we'd definately take this boat again. There were only 6 passengers and lots of cargo. The pier itself is unremarkable, a couple of food sellers wandered by but there is nothing else there apart from people loading cargo.

Highly recommend, keep an eye out for the yellow "slow boat" sign. Please note that the sign only faces towards Sihanoukville, so if you drive in from another direction make sure to look behind you. This boat is so convenient when you need to bring your scooter or motorbike to Koh Rong, or if you'd just like to experience local transport at its best. $5 per person and $5 per scooter and a great experience. The trip takes 2 hours coast to coast but with unloading time definitely add 1 hour to your travel time

A very good decision for all those budget friendly travelers who don't mind the reality. Going to both islands back and forth and also as an island transfer for 5$ each with the supply boat (slow boat). It departures at 7 am and 2 pm, be there at least 10 minutes in advance. It carries mostly local people and a lot of goods for the islands. It might take 2-4 hours depending how many stops it'll make but it's a nice experience. The entry is a bit hidden but it's underneath the red sign.
