This experience is designed for a small group of participants and offers a peaceful escape into the heart of Lapland nature. Pick up service is included in the price and can be arranged from Scandic Hotel Rovaniemi during checkout. The farm is located in the quiet village of Marrasjarvi far from city noise and busy roads. As you travel toward the farm the landscape gradually changes with forest roads becoming narrower and more rustic. The final part of the journey takes you through a forest path leading to a calm and secluded setting where nature and silence surround you.
Your visit begins upon arrival at the Kotatuli farm where you are warmly welcomed by the guides. You will meet the animals and learn about life on the farm before preparing for departure. The sleigh ride takes you through snowy forests offering beautiful scenery and the soothing sound of snow beneath the hooves. After returning to the farm a traditional kota with a glowing open fire awaits. Inside the kota you can relax enjoy warm drinks and light snacks while listening to stories and embracing the peaceful atmosphere of the wilderness.

Didn’t take a ride but on my visit to Dublin i witnessed a poor horse from here clearly exhausted carrying 5/6 people, heartbreaking to see how these horse are treated. They aren’t looked after properly, and in 2025 they should not be used for transport.

Please do not book this! It is animal cruelty! We did not take a ride, but we walked past the carriage with the poor animal. It was harnessed in a cruel way.

Be cautious! Looking at other comments from two years ago, rates were €50 but maybe because my little ones were really interested, they bumped up the rates to €60. Before the ride the rates agreed were €60 for 30min ride. The ride was over in 15min and I precisely noted it. They take only cash and make sure you have exact amount because I had to bounce around the shops to get them the change and they are not polite or helpful about it. Supporting local small businesses is good but this is an unethical business, cheating people visiting the area.

Paid 50€ cash for a 30 minute tour around town. It was a really relaxing way to see the heart of Dublin and get a break from the busy pedestrian areas and car traffic. Driver pointed out highlights as we rode by areas and answered any questions we had. Definitely worth the time!
