Experience the peace and authenticity of Lapland on a small group winter adventure. Your journey begins as you settle into a cozy sleigh lined with warm reindeer hides and are pulled by a snowmobile across snowy trails and the frozen surface of Lake Marrasjarvi. With only a small group of travelers, the quiet landscapes and untouched nature can be enjoyed in a relaxed and personal way. The winter scenery, sparkling snow, and crisp air create a serene atmosphere perfect for connecting with nature and escaping the busyness of everyday life. The ride allows you to fully immerse yourself in Lapland's beauty while sharing the experience with fellow explorers.

10/10 would recommend! We did the dog sledding a week ago and it was an amazing experience. All the employees were super friendly and fun. We got fresh snow overnight and it happened to be snowing on our run which added to the experience. They provided snow suits, boots, and gloves! We got the chili lunch but honestly we probably would skip the food part next time (nothing to write home about).

Could not be happier with the experience we had dog-sledding on Dec. 21. Justin and his team were amazing; the operation is top-notch, very professional and everyone there is just as concerned about the comfort & safety of their guests as they are with showing them a great adventure! Equipment is all very high quality including outerwear for the elements. It was -25F the morning we were there but we were warm and comfortable. The dogs.....are just as incredible as the people and most importantly you can tell there is an excellent bond between the humans and their animals. The views on the ride are gorgeous, and each musher is able to talk about their experiences out on the trail. The fact that part of the trail is actually the starting point of the Iditarod makes it even more exciting. My 18-year old daughter was blown away and can't wait to do it again....even in that cold! THANK YOU Justin & team for a great adventure....well worth it and very reasonably priced!

I was very skeptical this was was just going to be a very expensive - $636 for a family of 4 - “faux” dog sledding experience. Guess what…it was worth every penny! It’s super well run, managed and organized from the minute you arrive. The guides and staff were all genuinely kind, friendly and helpful. The dog sledding experience itself was not some phony easy ride around a loop! You are going all over their beautiful 20 acre trails and actually actively helping the guides if you stand up on sled or just chilling if you choose to be the passenger. It was a work out and we had a blast. Playing with the puppies at the end was the icing on the cake! Best family activity we did on our visit to Alaska. Can’t recommend Snowhook Adventures enough!

Loved Snowhook, great guided sled dog adventures. They provide snow suits, gloves and boots. So perfect if you aren’t in the area. They stop and will take pictures of you on your phone which I love. I love these beautiful memories. The experience was just long enough we had plenty of fun our guide was very knowledgeable. When you arrive you learn about sled dog racing, and then go meet the dogs while they get the sleds ready. If you’re a group of two they stop at the half way point and will let you switch spots so one person can sit up front and one behind the guide on the back of the sled.

My son and I had an absolute blast with Snowhook Adventure Guides of Alaska! From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed learning about the dogs and the history. We loved our guide, Andrew, who took us on a thrilling ride up and down and all around. It was a great time-so pretty too! I also loved that they offered winter gear for us to wear. Highly recommend this place for a unique, fun experience.
