Aquarium of Crete Offers an Immersive Journey into Mediterranean Marine Life

The Aquarium of Crete, the largest aquarium in Greece and one of the leading marine attractions in Europe, offers visitors an educational and engaging exploration of the underwater world. Operated by the Hellenic Center for Marine Research, the facility is home to more than 1,800 fish and invertebrates representing over 130 Mediterranean species displayed across 62 carefully designed habitat tanks.

The visit concludes with additional amenities designed for visitors of all ages, including an optional audio guide for deeper insight into the exhibits, a souvenir shop, and a café overlooking the sea.
