PADI Dive Against Debris

Spend a meaningful day with a qualified marine biologist helping protect the Mediterranean Sea. Learn how marine debris enters the ocean, its impact on ecosystems, and how to sort, record, and report collected waste through the AWARE Conservation Action Portal. This experience combines education with direct action, giving you practical tools to support healthier dive sites and cleaner coastlines.

Begin at 830 am at the dive school before heading to a sheltered site for a full environmental briefing. Take part in a morning beach clean, followed by a relaxed lunch break at a seaside taverna at your own cost. In the afternoon, complete a clean up dive using reusable ocean cleanup bags while still enjoying time to observe marine life. Return to the dive school around 4 pm to sort, weigh, and record collected debris and review optional photos. Completion of the theory e learning portion is expected before your diving day.
