I just came back from one of the most amazing trips of my life from Bhutan hosted by Sajan from Tales of Bhutan Tour and Arjun the driver. We celebrated my 28th Wedding Anniversary and Sajan made this celebration such a memorable one. He surprised us with a beautiful cake and a book presented by the legendary first English female writer from Bhutan, Kunzang Choden. From the moment we landed in Bhutan until the day we left, Sajan and Arjun gave their 101% in their professional services. Little touches like having umbrellas with them, hot flask with coffee and cookies, seat cushions, helping us with our bags and remembering our likes and dislikes etc - all these made us feel so loved and cared for. Their attentiveness is out of the world. Sajan even hosted dinner at his own place and we get to see his family. He went the extra miles in many occasions which touch me a lot. He rented motorbikes for my husband and our friend who want to ride in Thimphu. He also rented the traditional costumes so that we can wear it to the festival. Sajan is such a good photographer and helped us to capture so many precious moments. Now we have made good friends from Bhutan and they are welcome to visit us in Singapore anytime and we will host them gladly. Finally, Sajan patiently prepared us for the ultimate hike to Tiger Nest by planning small hikes throughout our 12 days and on 13th day, we conquered Tiger Nest with his encouragement.
