We did the Kristiansand: Guided Segway Tour through Get Your Guide operated by Fy-n-hi. Our tour was excellent!! It was a cold and windy day, but it was very worth it. So informative and a great overview of the main areas of the city. Our guide - the company owner - was super knowledgeable and easy to understand, and his pace was perfect. He spent a good amount of time at the beginning of the tour making sure we were all comfortable on the Segways and that we knew about safety. We also got little headset radios so we could hear him as we were driving along, which was really helpful! After the tour we felt like we really had an understanding of the history and importance of the city, and we even got to try some delicious fish at the market. Highly recommended for a super introduction and overview of the city!

This was the best segway trip I have been on. Worth every penny. The guide ensured that we all knew how to get on and off the segways, how to operate them safely and went round the practice course several times, before we went off onto the roads. Great informative trip, 3 staff to ensure we were all together and no-one left behind. We had radios, all the safety gear and fun. Highly recommended.

Wow, what a fabulous way to get a round and visit the port area. After signing off a brief waiver, donning a lovely safety vest and putting on a helmet were off to Segway training. Mr. Svein provided one on one training. Once we were all confident - off we go! Our tour guide, Anna, provided whispers to hear what we were seeing. We headed out the port shopping area first. We then stopped to view a map with the highlights of Kristiansand. The area is surrounded by a lovely beach and walkways where we encounter many walkers taking in the morning! We viewed the Fortress, where we stopped to take in the enormity of it. Off we go continuing past the beautiful seaside condos/homes. Off to the older part of the City that is marked with a red brick heart. Mr. Svein provided the history. We went through the town Square passing by shops and the beautiful Cathedral. Around the corner, we came upon a fish market. We all collected a fantastic bite of smoke salmon. It was like butter, just melted in my mouth -so ono!! We headed back, and we're rewarded with an official post card to commemorate our Segway license. Highly recommend the tour!
