Salta: Serranías de Hornocal and Quebrada de Humahuaca

This full day excursion departs from Salta and takes you through some of the most stunning natural and cultural landscapes in northern Argentina. The journey begins with a scenic drive to San Salvador de Jujuy, passing through picturesque towns such as Yala, Volcano, and Tumbaya, before reaching Purmamarca, famous for its Hill of Seven Colors. From there, you’ll visit Maimará with its Painter's Palette and the archaeological site of Tilcara, known for its high-altitude fortress, El Pucará de Tilcara. The route continues to the Tropic of Capricorn in Huacalera and the charming town of Uquía, home to Cuzco paintings dating back to the colonial era.

The highlight of this tour is the trek to Hornocal, where you’ll transfer to a 4x4 vehicle for a breathtaking journey up the mountains to witness the famous Hill of 14 Colors.
