Good day trip program with all combinations of salt flat and mountains.

The entrance is controlled by a local group that charges tourists without providing any receipts. The same views and experience are available free of charge just 50 metres away. Just walk 50m, these people do not add much value.

We very much enjoyed our trip with Veronica as our guide. We felt we got the value for our money and had a good time and also got to meet some other people. The photos from Salinas Grande make a great and affordable souvenir.

Jes and Mario were amazing guides. Their humor was so funny. Jes had amazing facts about geology and ecology. Mario drove fantastically. The van was very nice and comfortable. Just remember to bring some cash to enter the salt flats. Loved this tour and I had amazing guides!!!

It was a long drive to get there but well worth it in the end. Our guide was great explaining everything and offering to take some cool pics. If you’re not sure and haven’t visited a salt flat before then highly recommend it.

The guide Cesar was fabulous, as was the driver Alfredo. Both very courteous, ensuring we coped very well with the altitude and windy roads. Cesar was great fun and very knowledgeable. Everything was spot on.

Fun family activity. I enjoyed the landscape along the journey from Purmamarca way more than the salt flats themselves. Hiring a guide to enter is mandatory for safety reasons. The guide says relatively little. What you see in the pictures is what you get.

Don’t stop there. The price is now 12000 ARS per person for the tour by car. What a joke. Just drive a bit more further and your can have a walking tour by yourself just for 3000 ARS (see pictures). Go there after 14h00 to avoid crowd in mid-April.
