Nice beautiful and modern airport, I think not all the terminals are as beautiful as others. Has a lot of amenities, some restrooms were a little bit dirty.

Nice airport, very clean. It's only issue if there was any is that it is absolutely massive but somehow doesn't get that much traffic. Definitely over built, but also with little restaurants and very little lounge options. T4 only has an Air China Lounge and a Priority Pass contract lounge for everything else. Not bad, but not the best.

Funny thing, when we booked the ticket they didn’t say which terminal it was. So the taxi dropped us at Terminal 2, and we ended up running because the check-in gate was almost closing. Haha! By the way, Terminal 4 is actually nice, just still kinda empty. Not many food places yet, so it’s a bit hard to find something to eat or shop for🤷🏻‍♀️👋🏻

Very beautiful and modern airport. I slept in the overnight rest area of this airport for one night and transferred flights the next day. The overall experience was good.

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport is a major transportation hub in East China, located in the Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou. It features four terminals, with Terminal 4 being the newest and largest, designed to handle 50 million passengers annually. The airport serves both domestic and international routes and has expanded to include destinations such as Melbourne, Nagoya, and Vientiane in recent years. The airport has a well-connected transportation network, including metro links, buses, and an elevated expressway to downtown Hangzhou. Recent improvements include expanded security checkpoints and additional check-in counters to manage increased passenger traffic, which reached record highs in 2024. While the airport ranks as China's eighth busiest, reviews often highlight its modern facilities and efficient services. However, like many large airports, it can experience congestion during peak travel times. The airport's commitment to enhancing the passenger experience was demonstrated during the Asian Games with upgraded infrastructure and streamlined processes. If you're planning to use Hangzhou Airport, it offers a mix of efficiency, modern amenities, and expanding flight options.
