Airport staff hassled Vietnamese citizens, couldn’t even speak English properly. Power banks weren’t allowed on board, new passports were accused of being fake, restaurants didn’t accept card payments, and the toilets were filthy—no flush, no paper, just a stinking mess. I’m never coming back to this place again.

I had the misfortune of a 10 hour layover here, yes eveything is very modern and maticulously kept but thats only where the nigthmare starts. Very few staff have any basic grasp of english, given its an international airport I thought that would be standard. You are under heavy surveillance all the time, you also get followed. Wifi didnt work at the airport and find a place that takes any western card for payment for things like food etc is virtually impossible. While visually impressive wuhan airport easily goes down as the worst airport experience I've had in my life. Im not sure how china fails so badly at a good international airport experience when even smaller lesser countries do so well and with ease.

It was a very big airport and the security was very good. They had people at the entrance scan us for metal. The place also had a bunch of screens with games like a version of subway surfers. The line to check in wasn't that bad and the security lines were pretty short which made it easy to get through security. Afterwards, we saw that the gate was right in front of us! The bathrooms were also very clean as well. It is very easy to get to the airport through Wuhan metro if you know which stop to get off at and which line to ride. The food there was also delicious.

Nice airport, clean. Some seat will provide free charging and wifi. Cons: Not much sign board, hall in hot, shops and restaurants not many. Hall looks very empty

💜Transportation: Taxi RMB50 around from Town to airport, good metro connection to town. 💜Floor plan: clear instruction, only 1 building for all domestic and international flight 💜good lighting and decor 👎🏾few shops inside the Gate and restricted area. Only one coffee shop and cafe for international flight
