After having what I had thought was a confirmed booking, later declined by a very well known Tour Company, I was afraid that seeing Peggy's Cove was just not going to happen during my short stay in Halifax. I continued searching. Luckily, I came across a listing by See-Sight Tours. I am So glad that I did! See-Sight Tours - Trip Shepherd are the Only tour company offering tours in the winter ❄️ in Nova Scotia. As it turned out, I was the only passenger booked for the tour that day. They could have easily cancelled the booking due to not meeting a minimum passenger count. But they did not. That is exceptional customer service. My driver, Omar was very personable, and engaged in some interesting conversations along the way to Peggy's Cove. I learned a lot about Nova Scotia from an insiders point of view. I had a full hour and a half to spend there. Peggy's Cove is a magical and picturesque place, even in winter. ❄️ Omar really went above and beyond, in making my visit to the Halifax area a special one. P.S. I hope he was able to make it to the wedding on time!

Great small tour, six people, at much less than what the cruise ships charge. Peggy’s Cove is gorgeous and our driver pointed out some of the key things to check out during our visit. One hour though is not nearly enough time. Maybe add an option to stay for two or longer?

We booked the Peggy’s Cove Express Tour with 3 couples. To call it a tour is very misleading. We would have been better off and gotten more information from a taxi driver, and it would have been much cheaper. The driver gave us zero information and had little to say even when we asked specific questions about the areas we were passing through. We were given 2 hours to explore Peggy’s Cove, and when he arrived early was mad at my wife because we weren’t ready (waiting to pay for a meal) as he had arranged another tour. We still were good to go before the agreed upon time. Basic silence for the 1 hour drive back to Halifax That said Peggy’s Cove is a beautiful destination.

Nilah was an awesome tour guide. We chose the “express tour” of Peggy’s Cove which was ideal for us. All in it took about 4 hours from pick up to drop off. We heard some very interesting facts from Nilah along the way. We were able to explore the area, take some awesome pics and grab a bite from Tom’s Lobster Shack (which was the best lobster roll we’ve ever had!!). Loved this experience and would totally recommend it to anyone interested in a half-day excursion.

It was worth every penny! Our tour guide Nilah was so informative (a human encyclopedia) and had the most professional clear sounding running commentary you could ever hope for. Our beautiful scenic drive took us to Peggy's Cove, The Titanic gravesite at Fairview Lawn cemetery, history of the Halifax Harbour explosion, and The Citadel. We even drove past King Of Donair for all of you Trailer Park Boys fans. Don't pass on this excursion and if you get Nilah even better!
