The itinerary of the Ottawa walking tour is nice. However, the guide was not very professional. She kept looking at her notes and reading directly from it. False information was given sometimes and she had to correct herself. She mentioned she’s been living in Ottawa for 16 years but then she mixed up the war museum and history museum lol. Lack of interaction caused us to lose interest in the tour. We were expecting a lively tour instead of reading the info board by ourselves. The part about Fairmont Hotel is kinda weird. The whole group of ten just walked in and browsed through the lobby. I felt like we’re in everyone’s way. A concerning thing is the tour guide led us to cross the road at red light and even j walking during the tour. I don’t think that’s an appropriate way especially there’re tourists from the other countries in the tour.
Our expert tour guide Ibrahim arrived early, with red umbrella as advertised. I enjoyed getting to know him along with getting to know Ottawa. Ibrahim spoke clearly and confidently. His walking pace was appropriate for our group. The tour itinerary gave us a good sense of Ottawa's diversity. Ibrahim made himself available to answer our questions, and when he did not know something, he admitted so and found the answer for us. Both Ibrahim and Ottawa are now dear to my heart.
We took Eva’s tour and it was such a lovely walk with interesting conversations and we learned a lot about Ottawa. I love that now we had many stories to share with friends other than just pictures:) Highly recommend Eva and Toonie tours if you are first timer in the city.

I took Eva’s tour and it was fantastic. She gave a great overview of the city and shared some amazing stories. I wouldn’t have been able to find some of the cool spots that she brought us to otherwise. Highly recommend
