Mahmoud was an amazing and kind guide, we originally booked a Nubian village tour which we liked so much we asked him to organise an overnight felucca and transport for us to Luxor. Communication was great and everything went smoothly. The felucca was one of the highlights of the trip and in the morning the driver arrived to take us the rest of three way to Luxor stopping at two temples we requested.

Mahmoud is perfect for this. He has friends and family all over the Nubian Village and he knows all the best places with the best views, etc. Mahmoud is also such a humble person and really puts his heart into his experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the time and even ran overtime a bit but it felt as if we were just good friends. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Aswan.

If you're thinking of booking this tour just do it! Mahmoud is such a great, genuine guy who is so knowledgeable about the area, Nubian life and history and cares so much about his guest. This is not your typical tour but more like having a local Nubian friend help you have your perfect day here. This tour is very accomodating if you're vegan and Mahmoud will customize the day to your liking. I wasn't instead in hiking the mountain so he found us a place to go kayaking and after we got to enjoy my favorite juice at a beautiful camp and take a camel ride back to my hotel! It was the perfect day and I couldn't have planned it without Mahmoud's help. As a solo female I felt so safe with Mahmoud and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others! Seriously this experience is so unique and will make your trip to the Nubian Village so much more memorable and you will leave with a friend!
