I guess we drew the short straw on our tour. Our tour guide was inexperienced, almost impossible to hear, and clearly knew nothing about the history of Burlington or ghost stories. We left the tour early, as we couldn't bear it any longer. Lots of talk about UVM. I felt bad for her. She didn't have our plushies or the ghost detector. Check in was a disaster. That should have been our clue. We hung in as long as we could, but it was a complete waste of our time and money. I think she said her name was Cam. Photo of her attached.

Absolutely unacceptable experience :do not recommend. My husband and I booked this tour for our wedding anniversary and it was a complete disaster from start to our abrupt exit. Our guide arrived clearly intoxicated, inexperienced, and openly admitted she knew nothing about Burlington’s haunted history ,her exact words, not ours. We walked for barely eight minutes before realizing the entire experience was falling apart. We reported the issue the following day and have since contacted the company multiple times, speaking to several different “managers.” via email and mostly phone calls. Each promised to look into it, but no one followed through. We were given multiple/different email addresses and had to explain the situation repeatedly both by phone and email YET still received no refund for the tour. Ironically, they managed to refund us for the EVP equipment before the tour because their guide admitted her equipment never arrived. So it’s baffling that they couldn’t issue a refund for the tour itself. Instead, we were met with excuses, a lack of empathy, and no genuine apology for ruining what was supposed to be a special night. This company failed to take responsibility, failed to treat customers with respect, and failed to deliver the experience we paid for. Please do the right thing and refund our full ticket price. The Next Step will be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau and also will contact the town of Burlington to notify them of what is potentially a scam business. My husband has already responded to multiple messages here on Google and I for one will not be responding to any nonsense from any of the supposed managers that will be responding to this comment. I will also and have also notified friends and family on the east coast to steer clear of this tour!

We had fun visiting Burlington and the ghost tour was a great way to end the day. Our guide, Kayla (not sure how to spell her name) had an amazing memory. The stories at each stop were so detailed and interesting. We learned a lot about the history of the city as well. Thanks!

This was an incredible experience! Emma was an outstanding tour guide, and we learned so much and had so much fun. It was a beautiful night, which also helped. Who knew that Burlington had so many connections to the spirit world? Definitely recommend!!!!

A fun night in Burlington was had by all three of us in our group!!! Our tour guide, Emma, did a fabulous job introducing us to the unseen spirits of Burlington through her animated ghost stories and tales. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!!!
