The cave was a very pleasant and exciting place. The scenery on the short walk to the cave is stunning and you will probably see eagles in the sky and goats squealing on the slopes. If you like to drive curvy roads, then this is worth take by a car or a bike. Magnificent scenery for tens of kilometers. In November there was not a single person anywhere, that was a plus. Highly recommended.
What a great day for my family. Michael was a brilliant guide, who was able to talk us through so many Cretan topics, from the geography, history, plants, animals and Greek mythology. The car was very clean and comfortable for the journey. We loved the goats particularly and the olive oil tasting taught about the process of making olive oil and what to look out for in good oil (I hope that we have enough space in our suitcase). I loved watching my daughter make a vase and buying souvenirs in the stunning villages we stopped in. The Cretan meal was lovely and set in a beautiful location. We would all recommend and is the highlight of our trip.
Loved thus stop. One of my favoriteof our trip. I just wish there was more information on what wexwere looking at on site which is why i only ranked it a 4 instead of 5. Thank goodness for Google. Fantastic gelato at the cafe..
