Booking a classic whale watching tour from Dalvik with ArcticSear tours was indeed a good decision which I can recommend to others. The tour takes you around Eyjafjörður Fjord past Hrisey island. The smaller boat typically identifies first the whale and communicates this to the bigger boats. We have majorly followed the same humpback whale but it was interesting to closely observe the behaviour of such creatures whilst they're feeding and breathing at specific and replicable time intervals. Fascinating experience! N.B. We have in reality booked an 11am tour just the day before and in the evening we have received that this tour was cancelled and were offered to move on the 9am tour. I was flexible so I accepted but could have been potentially an issue. The weather deteriorated further in the afternoon so ultimately was a good decision.

Great Experience. Hosts are very fluent in English and take the Time to Hunt for good pictures. You will get weather-resistable Overalls as well as free hot chocolate and cinnamon Rolls on Board 😋

Great experience. The staff was friendly and nice. We were offered proper outfit, check in was easy. The tour itself was simply amazing, suggestive and wonderful. We were able to see a lot of wales, even if we took the big boat we were able to see them very closed by. The facility has bathrooms and it's warm. Incredibile experience.

It was a breathtaking experience. We had a very nice guard who told us many interesting facts about the whales and he had an exact idea from where the whales were at the day. Furthermore we had a very talented captain who led the boat skillful to the whales without scaring them. We saw so many whales and were able to take lots of photos and videos. Some of the animals were really close. At the end we even got hot chocolate and cinnamon buns. It worth a the price!!!

We had the classic tour, which was great (warm overalls and hot chocolate and cinnamon bun included). It lasted 3 hours, during which we went inside the fjord and had the chance to watch some 4-5 humpback whales. The guide also mentioned a minke whale, but I couldn't spot that sneaky one. Kudos to the captain, who patiently maneuvered the boat so that we could have a good with atvtbe gentle giants of the see.

Would love to see more sea life the whale type. A full cup of hot cocoa would be nice. The cinnamon cookie type roll was small but delicious.

it was amazing. because off the small group we all get a free upgrade to the Ribboat. in total we had seen 5 different humpbacks. Three off them where close to each other. if we come back to Iceland then we will book a tour again here.
