The view over to West bay beach from the "pier" on a brisk, October morning. Not many people out there sunning themselves, nor any hardy swimmer...

Lovely little seaside town, massive carpark before you enter the town, not only for cars but campers, day vans etc plus sea front parking available... Plenty of boats in the harbour, some trawlers from fishing trade... Lots of benches and seating all around the harbour, sea front, to enjoy fish and chips, donuts from the numerous take away places.. Restaurants, bars, pubs and gift shops can be found dotted about... Shingle beach spreads out on each side of the harbour... Crab Fishing is a must, it seems in this town, old and young enjoying the pass time... Not too busy while we were there mid week.. motorcycles were packed onto the town center, seems a great meeting point for bikers in this area... One thing watch out for the chip thief's with wings..🤣..

Looks as though it would be lovely on a good day, but we arrived to torrential rain most places were closed, but what we could see were alot of food options to choose from when they were open

We went at 8a.m ona weekday summer morning. It was beautiful to see West Cliff in the early light. There was an impressive amount of swimmers out at that time. Car parking is quite expensive, as expected for such a popular area, but is the same price as other beach car parks (e.g West Bexington). We walked the coastal path up the East Cliff which led to more beautiful views.

Brilliant place. Beautiful little area. Lots of places to eat and the scenery is beautiful. Fount the ‘Platform Resturant’ and what a unique little Resturant placed within an old train station and train carriages.
