This three and a half hour food and wine walking tour offers an immersive culinary journey through the historic village of Pescara Vecchia, where guests will enjoy five authentic tastings that serve as a satisfying replacement for lunch. The experience begins with a visit to the local market, where participants can discover the seasonal products, fresh ingredients, and secret culinary touches that define the flavors of the region. Two of the tastings take place in family-run shops within the market, allowing guests to experience the warmth and tradition of local vendors while savoring dishes prepared with care and authenticity. The market visit provides not only a delicious introduction to Pescara’s cuisine but also insight into the ingredients and techniques that form the backbone of regional gastronomy.
The tour continues through the charming alleys and streets of the village, exploring the places associated with the life of Gabriele D’Annunzio, one of Pescara’s most celebrated figures. Along the way, participants enjoy two more tastings in the cozy and inviting settings of local restaurants, bistros, and wine bars, sampling the distinctive flavors and specialties of the area. The experience concludes at a historic pastry shop, where guests indulge in the traditional Pescara dessert, Parrozzo, famously loved by D’Annunzio himself. This sweet ending provides a perfect finale to the tour, leaving visitors with a deep appreciation for the culinary traditions, history, and culture of Pescara Vecchia. The combination of market exploration, guided tastings, and cultural storytelling makes this walking tour a rich and unforgettable experience for food and wine enthusiasts alike.

Had a lovely dinner here of melanzane parmigiana, salad and other delicious things. Amazing service, great atmosphere and nice location.
Patricia

What a wonderful place to eat and share good times with friends. The decor is beautiful with italian brick ceilings and soft lighting. We will definitely be back.
Jessica

Very good gluten-free pizza dough :) maybe the best I’ve ever had! A selection of simple vegetarian and vegan options. Nice service and cozy interior. Thank you!

Yesterday, 5 guests. Parmigiana? .dont take it: it's just grilled aubergines or zucchini and then thrown in the oven with mozzarella ... noway. Roasted peppers with a mountain of rocket underneath (a bed of rocket or does it serve to make the dish seem more abundant?) ... but why you have to combine a such a typical plate as roasted pepper with rocket salad ? PIZZA is OKAY
Margaret

Beautiful restaurant with the best pizza ever! A lot of variation and choice in the menu with many different starters, pizzas and wine. The staff are lovely and so friendly. I would highly highly recommend eating here if visiting Pescara as it was the highlight of my trip. I will be coming back. :)
