Absolutely stunning views. The boat guide was so friendly and really funny. Would highly recommend.

Loved every moment!! The road getting to the boat is in a very bad state!! Can't believe it's been left to deteriorate so badly. Anyway back to the boat trip with the adventure Centre. The guide Simeon was great. He took control from the very beginning. The activity is busy so you need to book in advance. But there are 5 choices of time in a day. There is a pensioner price which they don't advertise, so ask when you do your booking. We went on 9am cruise and were surprised that there wasn't that much animal and birdlife. We did see a hippo and a croc and a number of comorants. But we went to see the canyon and that is what we did. Seeing the green cliffs towering above was just unbelievable. A very special experience. So good for the soul. Can't believe we've been in the area numerous times over the years and never taken the time to visit. For us ...the tufa waterfall was so interesting and the best surprise. Now we would love to investigate the area further. Maybe go up Marieskop?

An absolute must see for nature lovers. Stunning natural views of the canyon and mountain range. The water is crystal clear and reflects the landscape. The boat ride is informative and allows you to get the best views absorb the scale of the landscape. There is also hike to a nearby waterfall.

Remarkable experience. The boat trip is definitely worth while! Would recommend to anyone. We paid R390 pp for 90min boat ride. We saw crocodiles, hippos and a variety of bird species.
