Booked a very last minute Freediving line training session with Sebastian whilst on holidays in Zanzibar. Spearfishing with Charlie was highly recommended by a friend, but sadly I didn’t have time for both. I was a bit rusty as I got very little time in the water in the past year. My aim for the session was just to reconnect with the water again and comfortably explore depth. I immediately felt very relaxed with Seb. His warm, friendly personality combined with expert guidance and excellent feedback was exactly what I like to see in an instructor. I eased right back into, gaining confidence with each dive and ultimately exceeding my PB by 1m within the hour. I have no doubt that if I had done more previous conditioning training or got time for another session then I would have seen significant improvement under his guidance. If I’m back in East Africa I’ll be sure to be book in more dive sessions. Shoutout to the boat captain for the laughs too. Cheers Seb!

Very nice bluewater spearfishing from Nungwi Zanzibar. We spent a full day spearfishing bluewater and reef. Plenty of fish and good visibility. The guide: Charlie was very experienced and a great guy. He taught me the ropes so I was able to land a good kingfish. Also got a shot at a big wahoo, unforunately I didn’t make it. If you have some experience freediving and looking to try spearfishing this is a great place to go.
