Full day Altiplanic Lagoons + Red stones viewpoint + Salar de Atacama

This full day excursion begins early with hotel pickup from San Pedro de Atacama starting at 6.30 am. After approximately one hour of travel, you will arrive at the stunning Miscanti and Miñiques altiplanic lagoons, located at 4200 meters above sea level and formed by ancient volcanic activity. Surrounded by volcanoes and vast open landscapes, these lagoons offer impressive views and a peaceful atmosphere typical of the high Andes.

The journey continues to Piedras Rojas, a striking volcanic formation created by iron oxidation, alongside the Aguas Calientes Salt Flat. You will then visit the traditional Atacameño village of Socaire at 3500 meters, where you can see agricultural terraces and its historic church. Later, explore the Atacama Salt Flat within Los Flamencos National Reserve, stopping at Chaxa Lagoon to observe three species of flamingos. The final visit is to Toconao, known for its San Lucas church and bell tower, before returning to San Pedro de Atacama around 4.30 pm.
