Trip was amazing, took some time to find the whales but once we did, we spent a good half hour watching. Staff were great explaining everything clearly and informed about whales habitat etc. Coffee hot chocolate and hone made cinnamon biscuits provided too. Excellent value for money

The whales here seem wonderfully unafraid of people, often surfacing so close to the boat that you feel you could almost reach. Before you head out, the crew bundle you up in thick, insulated flotation suit that keeps you warm and safe throughout the trip. On board, you can wrap your hands around a cup of hot chocolate and nibble on freshly baked homemade cookies as you watch these giants glide past.

What an absolutely amazing adventure! Whale Watching Hauganes delivered one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip. We were lucky enough to witness feeding humpback whales working together in perfect harmony, teaming up to drive the krill up to the surface before gorging themselves again and again. Watching these giants feed so close, with such power and grace, was nothing short of breathtaking. The crew were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The scenery alone was spectacular, but the chance to see such incredible behaviour in the wild made this a truly unique and awesome adventure. Highly recommended to anyone visiting northern Iceland—an absolute must-do!

What an amazing experience! We saw 7 different whales and they were showing off continuously for 2.5h! We definitely recommend this company. We enjoyed our ride with Johann and Gardar. Johann is also a great singer, so I hope he shows off his skills as well.
