Great place if you’re looking to get some high quality meat. It was such an amazing experience. We went super early around 10am so the vendors weren’t out too much. There were a few stalls out and many try to stop you to buy their meat. We ended up going with one of the first to stop us and bought a good portion of meat and even got some brisket for service. They took us to a restaurant a few min walk away. It was closed but the manager was nice enough to open a little early for us. The meat was amazing and cooking it under charcoal was so cool. It was so yummy we went again to another stall and restaurant. The second restaurant was nice as well and the meat was amazing. Don’t remember the names of the stalls or restaurants we went to but I’m sure they are good and worth it. I highly recommend a visit to majang meat market!

Always wanted to try hanwoo beef but could never find the time to squeeze it in my visit to Korea. This time I made it my top priority as one of my top things to try while in Seoul. The nice lady I talked to spoke fluent Korean and English so that drew me in. She recommended the best cuts and how much to order. After I made my selection I was shown to a place nearby on the 2nd floor where I cooked the meat and ordered some soup. It was 7000w to sit down and it came with a bunch of side dishes and lettuce wraps. I definitely ordered more than I could handle but it was a tasty experience.

The meat was REALLY REALLY good! Tender, fatty, juicy, and delicious. If you've ever had wagy, kobe, miyazaki, etc then this is right in that tier of amazing beef. There are many little restauarants that will take you inside when you buy their meat so you can cook it and enjoy it right there. The only downside is you gotta deal with walking into a meat market where there is a lot of carcasses and meat being processed. So if you dont enjoy being in that type of area then it may not be very enjoyable. But I loved it lol
