Never use the services of a taxi company - TBILISI AIRPORT TAXI! The price for a 20-minute ride from the airport to the center of Tbilisi is 5 times higher than all other taxis! This looks like a scam and the city authorities should not ignore this fact. Such companies spoil the reputation of Tbilisi.

Tbilisi airport taxis are almost 3-4 times more expensive than the bolt or yandex app cabs. Never book these unless you want to be ripped off first up after arriving at Georgia

Worst taxi experience. Usually airport services are more expensive but you get safe and knowledgeable drivers. Mine was neither and couldn’t figure out Google maps. My 20 minute ride to the hotel took 45 minutes and I ended up walking the final 3 blocks…. With my three bags. I should’ve waited a few extra minutes for the Bolt or Maxim drivers and saved 40 Gel. You should avoid the awful Airport Taxi service. You’re welcome.

Do not take these taxis!! Download the Bolt or Yandex taxi app instead. The taxi meter with this service cost us 8 lari per kilometer and ended up being around 150 lari to get into the city! The taxi apps I mentioned will charge you a fraction of that price. Do not listen to the "airport taxi" drivers inside the airport telling you to come with them.

I arrived at the airport in Tbilisi today 1/6/24. I was approached by a guy who claims that he is responsible for all the taxis in the field. I asked him several times what the price is for the city center! The guy said we only work with a meter. We are honest people and do not charge an excessive price. After 10 minutes of arguing I agreed. The trip took 25 minutes. The price he demanded was 380 Georgian Lari! I told the driver he was cheating and I would call the police if he insisted. Finally I paid him 130 lari. The real price is a maximum of 50 GEL! Please all tourists!!! Do not ride with taxi drivers at the airport! Crooked cheaters! I was wrong, I paid, so don't say you weren't told!!!
