The day continues aboard a traditional Arab dhow sailing over cobalt blue waters toward the beautiful island of Kwale. Guests stop at a sandbank to rest swim and snorkel before enjoying a delicious seafood lobster lunch on the island. Kwale is a peaceful and romantic place where visitors can also walk to an ancient baobab tree that has stood for hundreds of years and is so large it takes many people holding hands to surround it. If tides and weather allow the dhow then sails to the blue lagoon creating a truly unforgettable and scenic ending to a remarkable day at sea.

Safari Blue Zanzibar was hands down the best experience of our entire trip. From the moment we stepped on board, the staff were absolutely amazing — warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain the food, the local culture, and the history behind the experience, which made the day feel meaningful rather than just another excursion. There were more than enough refreshments on board for everyone throughout the day, and everything was well organised and relaxed. The boat was not overcrowded, which made a huge difference and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without feeling rushed or cramped. The swimming and snorkeling locations were breathtaking, with crystal-clear water and beautiful marine life. Lunch was exceptional — easily some of the best food we had during our trip, fresh, flavourful, and generously served. The people truly stood out for their kindness and generosity, making us feel welcomed and cared for at every moment. This was without a doubt the highlight of our Zanzibar trip, and an experience I would happily do over and over again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Zanzibar. The only downside is how absolutely sunburnt you get - nothing on safari blue, that African sun will burn through SPF50

A trip to Zanzibar is not worth it unless you have gone on the Safari Blue trip. We had a wonderful day of snorkling, swimming and lunch. The seafood lunch and dessert of local fruits was 5 star quality. Our boat team was excellent! Nasu our captain was absolutely brilliant. Well done to Eleanor, Khamisi and team. You can be proud of yourselves!

5* day trip! We really enjoyed our trip with Safari Blue. Whilst this was the most experience tour we booked in 2 weeks in Zanzibar, it was by far the best. It felt like the staff genuinely wanted you to have a good time, rather than rinsing every last penny from you. The seafood lunch was delicious, good quality and as much as you wanted. Lots of fresh fruit, soft drinks and beers also if you wanted. The places we stopped to swim were beautiful and the island was also lovely. Thank you to the staff who made our boat trip so much fun! Would recommend!
