We did a Mnemba whole day tour. It was a serene and relaxing day. The guys took very good care of us and prepared a delicious food. We were lucky enough to see dolphins in various occasions and did some snorkelling at the coral reef that surrounds the island. Highly recommended.
#DreamDhowZanzibar. This tour company are 1st rate, I wouldn’t book with anyone else whilst here in Zanzibar. We have done two trips with them, a private jeep safari to Mikumi National Park, which was spectacular and a private Dhow Boat experience to Mnemba Island which was paradise. The staff are happy, informed and extremely helpful. They use good quality taxis for transfers etc. The food we were cooked on the Dhow boat was delicious, fresh and plentiful . We had a great day on the water with Dream Dhow! We did the Mnemba Island private tour in June and it was so much fun! The water is incredibly clear and you see plenty of fish by the reef. The sandbar is also beautiful, albeit a little crowded when other tour boats are nearby. Julia and her team were amazing hosts. They took care of everything, and even had the boat pick us up from the beach in front of our hotel! And lunch on the boat was great and more than we could finish. Thanks for a great day!
We were a group of 8 women and had the most incredible experience from start to finish! The boat was stunning, the crew was fantastic, and the day was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We snorkeled, swam, danced, and soaked in the beauty of the sea — and the food? Absolutely delicious! Fresh lobster, octopus, local dishes, and refreshing juice (plus a few Kilimanjaro beers 😉) made it feel like a true island feast. At one point it started raining, and the crew kindly gave us the option to head back or wait it out. They reassured us the weather would clear up soon, and we’re so glad we stayed — the skies opened up and the rest of the afternoon was sunny and magical! We spent the day between the turquoise waters, lounging on the sandbank, and relaxing on the boat. Huge shoutout to the amazing chef, our skilled sailor who handled the waves like a pro, and the friendliest host who made sure we were always happy and comfortable. We highly recommend Dream Dow Zanzibar — thank you for helping us make the most beautiful memories 💙
