Join us for an unforgettable small group adventure from Reykjavik to the stunning Snaefellsnes Peninsula, often called Iceland in Miniature. This full day tour showcases an incredible variety of landscapes including lava fields mountains black sand beaches glaciers and dramatic coastlines. We begin with a convenient pickup from your selected bus stop in central Reykjavik before heading west for a day filled with natural beauty and fascinating sights. Our first stops include the otherworldly Berserkjahraun lava fields and the iconic Mount Kirkjufell with the beautiful Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls, one of the most photographed locations in Iceland. We then enter Snaefellsjokull National Park home to the famous glacier capped volcano that inspired Journey to the Center of the Earth, offering breathtaking scenery and a sense of Icelands powerful geology.

The journey continues to Djupalonssandur black sand beach where you can walk among dark pebbles shipwreck remains and historic lifting stones. Next we visit the dramatic Londrangar basalt cliffs rising from the ocean and the charming coastal village of Arnarstapi where you can enjoy a scenic walk along the cliffs and admire the natural rock formations. We also stop at the striking Budir Black Church standing alone in a vast lava field, perfect for photos. Our final stop is Ytri Tunga Beach where seals are often seen resting on rocks near the shore. After a day of exploration we return to Reykjavik and drop you off at your original bus stop with lasting memories of this remarkable region of Iceland.
