We love it here! It's a ski-out type of ski village on top of the mountain and the slopes merge at the bottom by the lake. The cute village offers shops, bars, and restaurants. Everything is decorated for the holidays! There are so many trails to ski! If you want to try snowmobile tour, you must book well ahead because they sell out.

just got back from an incredible weekend at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. This place is a must-visit for any skier or snowboarder. We stayed at the Allegheny Springs and the location in the Village was perfect—we never had to drive anywhere. Our room was cozy and clean. For dinner, we ate at Appalachia Kitchen, and the food and service were top-notch. It was the perfect way to cap off a long day on the slopes. Already planning our next trip back

We planned a summer trip to Snowshoe with a large group of extended family. Unfortunately a medical emergency resulted in canceling our original stay. We had reserved a privately owned home in the Brigham Collection Black Bear Crossing area. The Snowshoe reservation specialist went above & beyond to make sure we would be able to reschedule our trip to keep from losing our entire rental fee. We ended up rescheduling our trip a few weeks later & had a wonderful time. Highlights included convenient location to a number of restaurants (Starbucks!) & excellent shopping. Beautiful sunsets & breathtaking mountain views all around. Amazing mountain bike trails & so much more that we didn’t have enough time to explore.

I’ve only visited in the summertime and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful scenery, fun activities, and great shopping and dining options. I loved riding the chair lift to enjoy the scenery and was surprised when a doe and fawn ran across the grass right in front of me. There are wildflowers everywhere. My kids loved the climbing wall and the lake with kayaks, canoes, and inflatables.
