Navigation in the Beagle Channel with minitrekking USHUAIA

The tour begins at the local tourist pier in Ushuaia, where you will set sail across the wide Bay of Ushuaia and enter the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico. During the cruise, you will sail around the Island of the Birds, observing the diverse Fuegian avifauna, including skuas, black-browed albatross, vapor ducks, cauquenes, Cook gulls, and gray gulls. The journey continues to Isla de los Lobos, home to colonies of sea lions with one and two hairs, both islands forming part of the Bridges Archipelago. Along the way, you will also pass the iconic Faro Les Éclaireurs, also known as The Illuminators Lighthouse, where colonies of imperial and rock cormorants can be seen while hearing the story of the SS Monte Cervantes shipwreck of 1930.

The tour continues with a short guided walk on Puerto Karelo, part of the Bridges Islands, where visitors can see authentic Yámana shell middens. This walk lasts about 20 minutes and ends at a panoramic viewpoint perfect for photographs.
