In this ninety minute workshop you will learn two essential kintsugi processes including bonding broken pottery pieces using traditional methods and applying gold to pre prepared pottery for a beautiful finish. All materials are provided including two pottery pieces from Tsugu. While the bonded piece requires curing time and cannot be taken home you will keep the gold finished piece as a unique and memorable souvenir. Conducted in English this workshop is ideal for culture lovers and travelers short on time and no prior experience is required just curiosity creativity and an appreciation for Japanese craftsmanship.
