We went for a whale watching tour. Francisco, who is fascinated with whales, is a great source of info, and very passionate about it as well. You will not get too close to the whales. They are very strict with their by the law amount of distance that should be kept from the whales. And I commend that, for sure. We have seen whales. Thank you for that.
My husband and I had a fantastic trip to the Islas Marietas and Hidden Beach with Michael as our guide. He was an excellent tour guide with so much knowledge about the birds and marine life. It was interesting to learn from him. He worked hard to find a clear place for us to snorkel, but unfortunately the conditions weren’t right for it today. Swimming in the ocean felt great, though, and we were lucky enough to be able to go to Hidden Beach since it is not guaranteed. It was beautiful and felt like an adventure to get there, swimming under the arch. What an amazing place! I should have brought a waterproof camera to get pictures there. I’m so glad we chose to do this tour! We weren’t interested in a party boat with drinking and loud music. This was exactly what we were looking for! Fun, educational, and beautiful. Thanks Michael (and the other guy whose name I forgot)!
Had an amazing experience with Maggie as our tour guide. We saw many whales breach, a mother and her calf, and dolphins. It was an amazing experience, completely worth the cost. The session starts with 15-20 minutes explaining types of whales, what we’ll see in Banderas Bay in terms of whales, super informative. Then we went out for 3 hours on the water, seeking the beautiful animals. You can tell Maggie has a great respect for the whales and the oceans, she was very inspiring.
