A five-star experience with Matic and the Kayak-Soča team! Organising boats beforehand from Ireland was seamless, setting the stage for an unforgettable week on the water. We had the opportunity to kayak all the local runs, tackling Grade II, III, and IV rivers, offering excitement and breathtaking scenery in equal measure. Hello Matic and Christian, we would like to thank you one more time for the amazing experience of kayaking on Soca river - the very best highlight of our summer holidays in beautiful Slovenia. We are family with one child (6years old). I would like to reassure all parents who wish to try kayaking with their kids, but hesitate, with this proffesional team you do not have to worry about anything! We have spend 3 hours (10km?) on water with Christian- experienced and very kind instructor, who explained us the techniques and on the water gave all his attention to our son. Thanks to his thoughful attention and gentle encouragement my son enjoyed the kayak and wasn't scared at all, he was proud of himself. Christian has a gift to create immediate confidence and considers a child as a equal partner in learning, which I appreciated a lot. My son absolutly loved this experience! Christian speaks English and spotless Slovak (good for brothers Czechs😀). We would love to come back next year, as Slovenia has a lot to offer. PS: the kayak team provides the equipments (helmets, shoes, etc) transport, they do photos for souvenirs, and communication was always smooth and quick. Perfect experience! We did three days on the Soca with Kajak Soca. The first day we could not see all the secret spots due to the weather but Zita, our guide, made a nice introduction to kayaking and showed us all there was to see. After this great first day we could very spontaneously add two more days of kayak course. Matic, our coach for the 2nd and 3rd day, is a great teacher and we had a blast paddling on the Soca with him. He perfectly integrated everyone into the group and always had good tips for improving and fun exercises to try. He made everyone feel safe and encouraged us in a fun way to try more. Together with his choice of where to paddle, what boat and equipment would suit us it was really an ideal experience for us as beginners but I am sure Kajak Sofa is your best bet no matter your level.

From the moment I made contact, Matic was accommodating, informative and wanted to cater to all our desires. We had a personalized tour and even got to see unexpected parts of Slovenia with our tour guide Karmen (the most welcoming and sweetest person).
