Alan took us down the Wild Atlantic Way and showed us so many special spots. The coast is marvellous and Alan gave so many interesting facts along the way. We also visited the only bean to bar chocolate factory in Ireland, the Hazel Mountain Chocolate factory. We got a tour there and got to try their absolutely delicious and special chocolate. The highlight of the trip were the Cliffs of Moher. We had 2 hours to explore the beautiful scenery and the visitor centre which gives so much information on the cliffs. It was the perfect trip from Galway to explore more of the countryside and coastline of western Ireland and we are greatful for the experiences and memories we made along the way. Special thanks to Alan for driving and explaining at the same time, it was truly amazing!
Fabulous day trip- well worth the money even in the off season! Our guide, Alan was amazing- equal parts informative and funny! I appreciate that he touched on the heavier side of the history of Ireland, but without going into too much detail (though with excellent book/doco/nerflix recommendations for furthering our knowledge) as well as interesting geographical information which brought the tour to life. Thanks!
